P. Mukhopadhyay & Co , a firm of Chartered Accountants, was set up by late Mr Panchanan Mukhopadhyay,FCA in the year 1954 in Kolkata. Ever since the firm has served many reputed business conglomerates in India as well as neighbouring countries. Mr. Panchanan Mukhopadhyay was the writer of a famous hand-book on Registration of Societies, followed even today. Over the years, the firm has developed exhaustive expertise and its core competency lies in the fields of Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Business Efficiency planning, Direct Taxation, Goods & Service Tax (GST) related solutions, Management Consultancy,Company Law Matters and Compliances, Acquisitions, Business Setup, Business Re-structuring and Outsourced Accounting & Book Keeping. MSMEs being the backbone of our Economy , we have thoughtfully developed the practical areas in which they need professional help and so we have a specialized team to focus on end-to-end statutory and compliance solutions solely for MSMEs. With a rich history of a little more than 7 decades the firm has carried on in its pursuit to deliver full proof service to clients in a time-bound manner, which , in our history, has always been a record.

From the past few years the firm has ventured into outsourcing of offshore book-keeping , Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable(AR) , Financial Planning and Analysis assignments of clients from USA.

Our Firm is empanelled with the Comptroller & Auditor General of India and has all statutory licenses and certifications as is mandatory. Presently there are 3 full-time Chartered Accountant partners, all being F.C.A.s with one of them having additional degree of Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering and Certification in Forensic Auditing. An adequate number of expert staffs as well as full-time consultants are presently on the payroll of the firm for attending to the individual needs of clients from every sphere. Our staff and full time associates include both fully qualified as well as semi qualified Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries, ex-Bankers (Senior Level) and the likes.

With a comprehensive team and flexibility to adapt and expand quickly according to the need of each specific client, both on-shore as well as off-shore, we have set on an ambitious plan to provide our services to clients in other countries as well.
